HELLOOOOOOO: im like very bored so i'll post before the blog dies. (and its dying, as a matter of fact) anyhow, i genuinely really truly love math alot. (its like the only thing i can do properly anyway) on another note, i LOVEchem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (or at least, im trying to love chem) ChEm rOxXorZzzzzz =.= chinese is nice too! i realised that this year is the year i genuinely learnt something about chinese!
aw, serious stuff. dazu yesterday was erm quite atrocious. or rather, maybe my ear quite special yesterday cos many things disgusted me. firstly, shengs obviously are just playing blindly. no paizi at all. pls look at the conductor especially at bars 36-39 for jusong which is actually very very very very very easy and its just a test of your basics (wich actually shouldnt even be considered a basic at all) but it was totally out. please also focus on your dynamics and its not like everything's supposed to sound the same, so monotonous. and i know sheng people can just chui and xi but goodness me, please lian on your qi can? im begging you. if you can pull the first 3 notes longer, it'll add more colours to the song. the first 3 notes are bad. secondly, i dont know why after so many extra fenzus, the suonas are not improving much. maybe you all would like to check the way you all are practising. i think just practising the song alone will not do you good. instead, start from your basics because you know it yourself, that it isnt very good. and then, go to the song. any single mistake, start all over again and not the note before. and your yin se(s) are pretty bad. if theres any way you all can work on it, please do so. thirdly, dizi people are just playing their own notes and not as a instrument or a section. its so messy. all of you end diffferently and even if the difference is just a split second, its so obvious. it seems like you all are playing for fun or something. and there are ten of you but its so dead. i dont know why either. fourthly, guanyue should play as a section and blend in with the rest of the orchestra. its disappointing to say that i expected something more refreshing after not going to hear you all for quite a few weeks but instead, i see/hear something which is so lackluster and the supposed chemistry between all of you is simply not there. i hope you all will come together as a section and shine with your music. NOTE: like it or not, think its true or not, its just my two cents' worth and i hope the sec3s esp the xiaozzs will do something about it. im expecting something much better than this by end november. also, please take some time, brainstorm, and think of what you all want to do about it.
